~ A Baby ~

A Baby is such a precious gift
That God sends to some to love
They are ours to nurture and feed
Till God calls them back home, above.

They are such fragile tiny ones
Who will tear at one's heart strings
When they smile and coo and gurgle
They make you feel like you're on wings.

It is such fun to watch them grow
Into the little person they will be
From the very first step they take
Till they leave home to fly oh so free.

Yes a baby is a very special gift
Given to some lucky people to care
They need to be handled so delicately
The way God handles each of us here.
